41st National Farmers' Day Celebration
The 2025 National Best Farmer is Opanyin Abraham Kwaku Adusei, an 82-year-old farmer from the Kwahu Afram Plains South District in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
He received the award at the 41st National Farmers’ Day Awards Ceremony held on December 5, 2025, in Ho, the Volta Regional capital.
Opanyin Adusei has been farming for 44 years and manages large areas of cocoa, mango, and cashew, among other crops.
For his achievement, he was awarded a cash prize of GH₵1.2 million sponsored by the Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) and a brand-new tractor with implements from Sino Trucks.
Runner-ups:
First Runner-Up: Osman Kadri, 48, from the Greater Accra Region.
Second Runner-Up: Charles Gyato, 63, from the Oti Region.
